Safety Coordinator

Fort Saint John, Britsh Coumbia

Job to start immediately and full time Wages based on experience and knowledge

Responsibility will include the following,

-Act as a resource for all safety related matters

-Review contractor HSE programs and documentation to determine compliance with project HSE requirements

-Perform site inspections, identify corrective and preventative measures and follow-up

-Coordinate new hires/on-boarding, ticket tracking, orientations, arranging A&D screening, etc.

-Organizing other training as required

-Work closely with the Management Team to promote a proactive environmental, health and safety culture

-incident investigation, root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions

-Organize and hold safety and HSC meetings

-work with auditor on core maintenance and external audits

-maintain and Audit driver logs books

-must be proficient with ISN Networld , Avetta and Safety Sync

-strong knowledge to maintain the latest industry legislation and to ensure compliance

-Other duties as needed

- NCSO designation or equivalent preferred.
