Position Type: Full Time Permanent or Seasonal Positions (winter) or Contract Work Available

Requirement of Position: Class 1 License, experience operating/willing to learn – Semi Units, Combo Units, Hydro Vacs, Body Vacs, Sour Seal, Tankers & Super b’s Considered an asset but not necessary

Salaried Position: Range from $50,000 – 120,000 based on experience

Living Accommodation: Camp – Free, fully serviced with cleaners & chefs

The Operator has a key role in the MAD team and is responsible to operate the MAD fleet of equipment. The success of the individuals in the position directly impacts Team MAD’s success in all areas, including but not limited to safety, customer satisfaction, and operational work ability directly affecting income of co-workers, overall profit of the organization and reputation of the organization. The organization may assign additional duties as required within the scope of the position.

Working Environment

Workload and schedules may vary depending on emergency situations and routine work that can be punctuated by a very busy period, this is a 24-hour business and the hours can be erratic.
Travel may be required, and driving can occur in all weather conditions and to various customer and/or MAD Oilfield Solutions worksites.
Jobs may require: sitting for moderate to long periods of time.
The majority of the time will be spent in an office setting; however, field visits may be required.
Job stressors can include multiple demands, shifting priorities and working under pressure to meet short deadlines.

Education and Experience

Experience operating one or more of the following: Semi Units, Combo Units, Hydro Vacs, Body Vacs, Sour Seal, Tankers & Super b’s Considered an asset but not necessary
Several years of progressive experience in a trucking industry where analytical thinking and customer relationship management were considered crucial, is required.
Valid Class 1 driver’s license.
Clean commercial abstract.
Certification and/or training in the following are required: First Aid, H2S, CSTS, and OSSA Fall Protection & OSSA Confined Space.
Excellent working knowledge of occupational health and safety and Alberta driving regulations are required.
