North Dakota has certainly seen it's ups and downs when it comes to the Oil & Gas industry. Now in 2022, however, things certainly appear to have changed and it seems there may indeed be many Oil & gas jobs still available in the state of ND.
Uncertainty in 2016 - Boom in 2022?
According to a recent article in KFYR, Oil and gas production numbers dropped in the latter part of 2021, but state officials warned that was to be expected and that activity will continue to trend upwards going into next year.
But according to the Williston Herald, November pleasantly surprised with a 48,000 or so barrel per day increase, which is an overall 4.4 percent jump in production to 1.16 million barrels of oil per day. Gas production meanwhile rose 2.4 percent from 2.999 billion cubic feet per day to 3.072 billion cubic feet.
Rig counts in December were 32; The highest they’ve been since the recovery from the pandemic began was 35.
Meanwhile, a JobService event coming up in March of 2022 already has a dozen Oil & gas companies in attendance, and no doubt will feature 100's of jobs.
